Because I copied a project with simotion (and also with plc) so i can use this for another machine, where all siemens hardware is simular. I noticed that one of the axes now has a different amount of parameters in comparison with original project. How could this happen ? When everything is simular ? ...

How you have copy the project? A copy can be made with "Save As" or you copy the complete project directory to a new folder an open it. Regards Christoph

OmegaProjects Silver Member Joined: 11/14/2008 Last visit: 5/6/2024 Posts: 504 Rating: (22)	Actually I was missing 'automatic commutation' and so i discoverd it , afterwards i forced it with parameter 1990. I didn't copied really actually , i took project and changed IP-adrresses and regenerated I-Device etc... Afterwards compile and load. We've done this before and it's actually the first time that we have this situation.

And I allready checked access level (they're both on expert level) and no filter are active. I am using scout v4.3.

If you change this parameters on machine 1 in Online Mode and don't upload the settings to the project then it can happen this differences when you copy and download the project on machine 2 because online changes on parameters are not stored in the project until yxou upload the changes from the devices to the project. I understand you that the values of the parameters are different. Normaly only r-Parameters are different or motor/encoder relevant parametes changed if you use other motors or encoders.
