Could not find a configuration software for Siwarex U - 4601 series.

Hi to all,

I am in the same situation right now, and mentioned in the above posts, I need to install the Siwarex U setup for Step7 file.  My current Siwarex U software if of order no.: 7MH4950-1AK01, and the weighing modules present in the HW is only 7MH4950-2AA01 and 7MH4950-1AA01.

I need to have the old weighing module, 7MH 4601-1BA01, since the machine program is having the old module installed. To link the old weighing module to my HW, Sewarixi mentioned that a software configuration package be installed, 7MH4683-3AA63. This is where my problem is, my software installed is for siwarex U - 4950 series, and I could not find a configuration software for siwarex U - 4601 series.

Is there anybody here, who have already found a link, where to download the Siwarex U setup for step 7 file? Is it still available for purchase?

Hi Abigail,

if you want to integrate the old Siwarex U 7MH4601* into your HW-Configuration you have to install the HSP for it.

The HSP you find here: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/48549017 

Be aware, if you have installed the "SETUP-FOR-STEP7" from the old configuration package 7MH4683*, you have to uninstall it before installing the HSP.

The access to the Siwarex U you can't do with the FB that is provided for the new Siwarex U 7MH4950*, you have to do it in the "old way" as described in the manual https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/7787659 chapter 5.
