hazem Bronze Member Joined: 2/15/2010 Last visit: 1/20/2024 Posts: 329 Rating: (6)	Dear expert, i have one sytem running under win3.11 and suddenly system was down we already restored it and expcept this message could not initiate DDE conversation S 3964 R IS 135 and as you see this message for communication protocol between wonderware software and S5 plc so any body can tell me how can i resolve it?

jklm Platinum Member Joined: 12/22/2006 Last visit: 1/25/2022 Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Hello, I do not know if the communication is based upon the DDE Manager described in this manual: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1136440 May be the DDE manager is not started. See if chapter 4.3 applies to your system.
