Is it possible to show on hmi how many time remain form the set point time ?

For example I have TON = 10 seconds and I would like to show on hmi that time is running from 10 sec > 0 sec

Respectfuly - That statement is not helping in knowing what to explain.

One piece of information that might be helpful to know:
The IEC-timer is internally a counter that counts time increments. The counter value which the user program can use is a DINT value. What we call a TIME type is in actual fact a DINT value of milliseconds.

In TIA Portal we see time represented in other units like T#2M30S. That is only what the user sees; software trickery. The PLC see that value in milliseconds.

The code piece look as follows:

There is a special instruction for LAD code to handle time (which is more than just the TIME type). Coding in SCL is much more straight forward:

#remain := "timer".PT - "timer".ET;

Using the elements of the "timer" datablock is not needed. For the example it is okay to code constants or tags like: (same idea for LAD)

#remain := T#40s - #elapsed;

The HMI is not going to be friendly to you to show a time value in the same way that TIA shows it to us. That means T#40s is in actual fact 40,000 ms. Coding and scaling is needed to process it to 40s and 0ms.

Yes that is an option. But please consider my previous post. With some math you can use the timer as you wanted to first.

qwazee thank you so much, this is the solution, my problem is I am totally beginner and I don't know many blocks/functions like this "t_sub" - this solved everything and it was so easy.
