salesharks Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hi I am trying to set up a production counter from a CPU313C-2DP to be displayed on a HMI. I have used the standard CU counter in step 7, My question is how do I get it to count above 999? Do I have to use a series of counters?

A "valve1_pp1" // Whatever it is you want to count FP M 10.0 // Front pulse, since it should only count once. JCN end L "Counter" // This is where you store the counted nr, Double for nr's over 65k L 1 // Amount by which u want to count. +D T "Counter" // Transfer back end: NOP 0

[code] L 0 // Pre load the ACCU to reset counter A "reset_counter" // This is an input, merker, whatever you'd like to use to reset the counter JC rset // When the reset bit is high, you jump directly to the transfer of the counter. With 0 being in the ACCU 1, it'll load 0 into the counter, thus resetting it. A "valve_pp1" // original code FP M 10.0 // original code JCN end // original code L "Counter" // original code L 1 // original code +D // original code rset: NOP 0 // This is added for the reset T "Counter" // original code end: NOP 0 // original code [/code] "reset_counter" can be any bit you want to use.
