Coupling CPU 948 V7 SIMATIC S5 with CS 275

Silbato Posts: 7 Rating: (1)	Hi Colleges: I am upgrading a CPU946/947 that that is sharing the rack with a CS275 COM card and a SINEC L1 Card. I am using a new CPU 948 V7 (3UA23) and the first thing that I changedwas the HTB handling blocks FB120, FB121 and FB125. I charged the new CPU with that updated programm with the HTB mentioned and anything else. I never touched the MKE, MKS, AKE, AKS and Motors and Valves functions blocks used to send and received analog and binary signals in the CS 275 from any S5 155U that already existed in the old CPU programm. When the back up programm modified wht the new HTB function blocks was already in the new CPU, I change the mode to " RUN" and the main MMI Screen that is used to show all measurements and binary changes was connecting and disconnecting almost every minute or sometimes every 5 minutes. We checked the Diag file in theEngineering Stationin order to see what was happening with the coupling S5 --> CS275 and it was telling usall the time that some AKS, or MKS were missing and suddenly appeared also " Participant( SIMATICone)was disconnected" and connected again. I checked the behaivor in the L1 sending and received data blocks and it was working properly and I directed my self to the DB that are used as a MKS and AKS signals and they were showedin the " Status variable mode in STEP 5 Menu" But regarding this, the problem in the main MMI screenhad notgone. I decide some minutes later to insert again the CPU 946/947 and load the old programm with the old HTB handling bloks and the problem desapeared. I would like to know if somebody knows if Imusttake some standar and updated FB´sthat could be usedto connect S5 CPU 948 verynew version 7 to the CS 275. Or if I have to check the cycle time orsome interruption due to the 5 times more processing speed in the new CPU 948. Best regards and thanks for help Silva

Have you read the handbook of the KNS5 communication: KSN-S55/AG 155U Connecting the CPU 946/947 and the CPU 948 of the SIMATIC AG S5-155U to the CS 275 Bus system Good luck.
