Communication masters

Master station : 

PG + WinCC 7.4 RC + Telecontrol Server Engineering + Telecontrol Server Runtime + DNP3 License

Slave station : 

S7-1200 + 1243-1 (configured as DNP3)

Question :

In the time synchronization section for 1243-1, manual says i have to set the time of day synchronization to "Time from partner" " Partner 1", however, I dont have any partner to select from in TIA, the drop down menu does not give me Partner 1 but gives me "No Connection Partner"

I dont know where to set that from, I tried putting a IE general PC and connected it to the CP, but it did not come up also .

Any ideas would be welcome.

You need to configure a connection to the DNP3-Master.

I have set up the DNP3 settings and parameters, however when I reached to the DNP3 tags in the Telecontrol section of WinCC 7.4, I am facing an issue in not finding my configured RTU CPU (my configured S7-1200 DNP3 RTU connection) in the tag properties - "Address section"

Photos from  my WinCC tags section is attached, any idea what I am doing wrong here ? would really appreciate the help in my first DNP3 project :)

In Chapter 7.3 is a step for step description for setting WinCC as DNP3-Master.

You have to create a "DNPCONN" and a "DNPRTU" Node.

 I have actually followed the manual step by step and did create the nodes, but unfortunately the tag properties in WinCC 7.4, in the section for "Address" it is still empty for the Telecontrol tags, as shown in the photo attached.

If you are using WinCC V7.4 SP1 you need to install a Patch:

SIMATIC WinCC TeleControl V7.4 compatibility with SIMATIC WinCC V7.4 SP1

I downloaded and fixed the patch, but unfortunately the tag address section is still the same (empty) :)

1. I have s7 300 with TIM 4R-IE is the configuration, step7 v5.6; Sinaut ST7 configuration-v5.5 sp3

2. WinCC v7.4 sp1 update 8

3. Telecontrol Server Engineering + Telecontrol Server Runtime + DNP3 License are available.-> V7.4

Update-

Updated the channel driver with Patch file given in the link, but no success.
