CP 243-IT email, SMTP authorisation

marlowe Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello, I'm going to send e-mail from CP 234-IT. I need to set up IP address, port, username and password for SMTP server. When I try to configure this module I couldn't find any place where I could set username and password. I could only set IP address and port. Is this possible to make authorised connection to SMTP serwer using CP 243-IT ? How can I logon into SMTP server which needs user/password ? Best regards, Artur

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear Marlowe, I am sorry but UMENCO is right. The IT CP of the S7-200 is not able to use Login and Password for SMTP Server. The only CP I know that supports this is the latest IT CP for the S7-300 and S7-400 support E-Mail Authentication. Maybe you can switch to these systems. Best regards J_Bell
