cp 340 - ring indication

aante Posts: 55 Rating: (0)	Hi all! I have one question. How to indicate ringing (incoming call) in program in s7-300. I am using CP 340 and siemens mc35i gsm modem connected via rs-232c I have tried to use "v24_stat" block with correct "ladd" (first adress as in hw configuration) but dont get "RI_IN" output active when calling (rxd led on cp 340 flashes). Other outputs are correct. (when i disconnect modem outputs are changed). Does anyone have an idea or advice? Correct (working) shematic of cable?? Please help.

Hi aante, check first, that PIN9 is connected onto the CP340 Sub-D. Very often, the RS232 cable do NOT using the "ring" - core!
