ALGUDKAR RAO Posts: 621 Rating: (10)	dear experts and friends. now im commissioning the plc program the uploaded program Hardware configuration snaps attached here. the plc dignostic is ok without any fault.but im facing theproblem since last one week cp 342-5 getting bus fault led.is there any solution plese suggest me actually the customer requirement is already existing in the program they watnt to configure the data exchange between PLC to DCS (ABB). in one data block there is 16 byte but they now need to exchange the data 16 byte to 32byte.can any one help me thanks in advance regards algudkar Attachment snaps.zip (367 Downloads)

ALGUDKAR RAO Posts: 621 Rating: (10)	Dear umencho thank you for the prompt reply what u given the link adress i found that according to that i did and i tryed so. and i check the layed of profibus cable whether it damage or what and also check the station configured dip switches.but till im not able to rectified bus fault and system fault led on CP module.plz guide me what are the solutions. thanks with regards algudkar

ALGUDKAR RAO Posts: 621 Rating: (10)	Dear wizard thank you very much for the reply as per your suggest previously i did same thing.CP is a slave im sending the 16 byte DB101 and 4byte reciving in DB102.its ok but customer requirement ismore then 16bytesend and recieve.to ABB DCS module.if im going to chnge in hardware configuration i made 16byte suddenly it will go to Bus fault.again same hardware and plc program. i was downloadedthen also it will goes to bus faulty.till im not getting exact solution to remove the bus fault if you have any idea please suggest me. and also i lay the cable replace the connector and change the node adress baudrate tryed.then also till CP showing the bus fault. best regards algudkar

(Also change size of DB101)) in network 7 you have to change p#DB102.dbx0.0 byte 4 (You now receive 4 bytes, change here the number of bytes the master sends (Also change size of DB102)) Hope this will help.
