CP 343-1 instead TS Adapter

Survive Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Hello All, At present I'm usinga TS Adapter II(Teleservice) to have a remote accessto a S7-300 CPU 317F-2DPusing a standard line (Modem).So, now I'm using TS Adapter and Teleservice Software to have access to make changes in the program remotely, but I do not want to use Teleservice, way to slow. WhatI need to have more speed using Ethernet ?Only one CP343-1 in the rack is necessary ? Scalance ?? Please, I need a complete configuration to doit ! A list of componentswould be very helpfull ... I need more details about this configuration. Ok, now I know that I need one Scalance S612 or S613, two DSL-Routers (one with fixed IP-address) and Softnet Security Client Software installed in my notebook to have Sucurity access. But need I purchase a special board to my notebook (CP56XX ?) or a standard board to access Internet is ok ? What CP is necessary in my central rack, CP343-1 ? On PC side you do not need any special Card, you can use your standard NIC that is part of your PC already, actually depending on the Router or the way you access the Internet over. On the second, the PLC, side you need one IP capable Interface. This can be one of the latest CP 343-1 or CP 443-1 if you have a S7-400. Best regards J_Bell
