Hi All,

I have a project with S7 400H station and Simatic PC station.

Below are the details of the configuration,

  1. Both Racks at S7 400 H station contains a CPU 412-3H ( 6ES7412-3HJ14-0AB0) V 4.5 and a

    CP 443-1 (6GK7443-1EX20-0XE0) V2.1.     

  2. Simatic PC Station with WinCC Application and IE general card V8.2

I am unable to create fault tolerant connection between OS and AS in the above configuration.

In this FAQ they wrote that you need CP1613 or CP1623 and that its not possible with normal Ethernet Cards:

Thanks for the reply. 

The attached document is of old version, I am able to create fault tolerant connection via IE General card using CP 443-1 ( 1EX30), But it doesn't work for CP 443-1 ( 1EX20).
