cp 443-1 advanced in H system

Felix Miguel Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	hello why can't i use a cp 443-1 advanced (6GK7 443-1EX40-0XE0 v1.0, v 2.0, v 3.0) in an H system? do i need other superior version of this module or this cp is not allowed for H systems? if i need another version please send me the gsd or tell me where i can get it. thanks.

Hello Felix;
The CP 443-1 Advanced is not released for H-systems, unfortunately.

And here is a (mpore or less explicit) explanation for this:

Usable in S7 H systems:
The module can be used as a communication partner in fault-tolerant systems (H systems).
The modules operate the redundant S7 connections. These connections possess more stringent time monitoring mechanisms. In the case of communication problems, data exchange is switched over to parallel transport connections.

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, Daniel is right, you can either use an EX11 or an EX20 CP. The CP’s EX4X are not released because of timing and interrupts issued on the backplane bus. I hope you will be able to exchange the CP with the latest one, the CP 443-1 EX 20. Best regards J_Bell
