CP 443 Communication Problem

mihai_ang Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	As you can see from the picture i have configured 2 connections to a data base server...the first one i use it for sending data the second one for receiving data. It seems that now there is a problem only on the first connection that practically remains blocked(remains in status "data transfer on Ethernet") even when i am not sending nothing(the Ag_Lsend function is disabled). At a new trigger of send function(Ag_Lsend) the amount of data present in sent buffer will not increment any more. In this status the only way to restart the communication is to put the CP443 in STOP and RUN again. The strage thing is that no error is signaled by the Ag_Lsend at the new request for sending. Practicaly everything is OK but is not working any more. When the connection for sending remains blocked the receiving connection can still work without a problem. Any ideas? how come Posts: 382 Rating: (47)	Hi mihai_ang, I can't get a good picture of your problem you describe. Let me try to answer your problem. 1] first you must ensure your netpro [e.g partner ID, connection, etc] set up are correct 2] the parameters entry for you AG_Lsent/Recev block must be correct [e.g length, bytes, ID,etc] 3] ensure not mistake on theCP ethernet card TCP address/ MAC address setting. Maybe it would be better you can post your system configuration and program blocks tohere so as to have a better idea to solve your problem. Hope this help. with regards, how come?

This locking is particularly important, because the function is asynchronous and can last several cycles. Continual triggering of new send requests without waiting to see if they worked or ended with errors can create a communication overload.
