The CP 5512 should be compatible with Windows XP SP3 (32-bits). See the table in the following FAQ:

However, the interface for the CP 5512 is a Cardbus adapter (32-bits), whereas the adapter for the CP 5511 is PCMCIA (16-bit), so they are not compatible. And if your present laptop does not support Cardbus interfaces, you will not be able to use the CP 5512.

The CP 5512 is discontinued since 2015, you will have very little support for it; the replacement is the CP 5711, USB-based.
