Hello, and what you want to do with CP? Do you have some SW Simatic NET installed or other solution? Update: check this manual where is clear info that CP can acts as Master and Slave (link): CP 5623/5624 Profibus Operation manual |

Hi Duris. First of all, thank you for your answers. I'm a little bit desesperated with this so I appreciate any help. I'm trying to connect a PC (which has the CP 5623) with a S7-300, so any change on some variables could be read on an application that runs into this PC. The final purpose is to sequence a process so the PLC can tell the PC to start image processing and the PC sends back the result when finished. My only problem is that I'll be forgetting something essential, because I'm not able to communicate my CP with my PLC. The rest of this stuff (PLC programming, image processing, ...) is not a problem. One more time, thanks for your help. PS: I've Simatic NET installed, with tools like 'Communication Settings', 'Set PG-PC Interface', 'Station Configuration', ... |

What I'm exactly missing? The CP must be working well, because it allows me to upload the PLC software throught PROFIBUS. |
