Happy new year everyone.

    Here's my enquiry. We have a PC with Windows XP Professional SP3. On this PC we have WinCC flexible 2004 Runtime SP1 running. The communication  with the CPU 314C-2PtP is made through communication card CP5611. The runtime program is control of pumps and valves.

    We want to take the runtime program and put it in a PC with  Windows 7 Professional SP1 64bit. We have acquired the CP 5711 communication card which is recognized at ''Set PG/PC Interface''. When I open the runtime program from the W7 PC I cannot establish communication with the CPU and as a result I cannot control the runtime program.

    Obviously I am missing something. What should be my next step? Since new to this area some information - advice would be nice. Thank you.

Flexible2004sp1 is not compatible with windows7.

Maybe problem is this.

Are you using MPI communication??

In ''Set PG/PC Interface'' diagnostic can you see plc bus node???

In the old XP pc in the diagnostic do you see the same 3 nodes (1-2-3)??

Did you check if option "PG/PC is the only master on the bus" is the same for the 2 pc?

Can you post a screenshot of CONNECTIONS page in winccflex??

 I can't see the nodes. It shows a message that the interface is already online and cannot run diagnostics.

''PG/PC is the only master on the bus'' is the same in both PC's. It is checked.

The old PC communication card is a CP 5611. 

In Diagnostics.png I see 3 nodes.What is n.1??

What is connected to plc mpi connector?

Do you disconnect xp pc before to try to communicate with win7 pc??
