MavEric Bronze Member Joined: 5/28/2009 Last visit: 1/18/2025 Posts: 127 Rating: (10)	Dear All I have the Following HW Cofiguration:---- CPU 414-4H Redundent system CP 443-1EX11- 0XE0 My problem is that one of the CP card has gone faulty and as the present CP 443-1EX11- 0XE0 has become obslete so please provide me the information on the replacement of the present card available in the market. Secondly the hardware config at the site has been password protected so I want to know whether we can just replace the faulty CP card with the new one without configuring the hardware for the new CP.

Hello, yes, you are right.CP443-1EX11-0XE0 is absolute. As a Repalcement you can go for CP443-1EX20-0XE0. But i think you may need to download hardware.

You can use it as a direct replacement for your H-System without hardware modification. To read more check the following. New CP 443-1 (6GK7443-1EX20-0XE0) Released for Delivery 2. Spare part replacement: Direct replacement, i.e. replacement of a CP443-1 (CP443-1EX11-0XE0) against a CP443-1 (CP443-1EX20-0XE0) is only possible if the above restrictions concerning the AUI connections and data storage on the CPU are taken care of. In the case of a spare part replacement it is not compulsory to adapt the hardware configuration. For exchange CP 443-1 (EX11) to CP 443-1 (EX20) please have a look at the migration document Best regards. H-H

In such cases user is required to get in touch with Local SiemensOffice, for availability of modules. as its prodiuct cancellation many of the modules still must be available. and point to be noted, even after the product discontinuation techicnal support for the same for predefined time is available
