Hello phizza,Yes you can use any standard NIC along with Softnet S7. All you have to do is link the CP_H_1: with the ISO Industrial Ethernet NIC. |

Hi phizza, I don't think it will be possible working on DOS partition, unless you find a DOS driver for your NIC interface. I did some tests all i had to do is change interface to build in network interface adapter. It even works with wireless interface adapter. (S5 V7.2 on W2K) You will need monkeyswing cable between CP card and PLC PG port also. Added attachment with some screen shots. Kind regards, BV AttachmentNIC.zip (203 Downloads) |

Thanks for both of your help. Got it working with a Siemens field PG loaded with S5 V7.23 and Simatic Net. |
