CP1613 Duplicate MAC Address Detected

amith v Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I have a redundant Server Client Architecture with WinCC V7.0 SP3 and 317 PLC's in the field. This was a running plant and suddenly I get a error message "CP1613 : Duplicate MAC Address Detected " on the server and the communication with PLC's is lost. Now the whole network is down and the SCALANCE Switches linked to the redundant servers are showing Fault and i am unable to access them. I have attached the screenshot of the architecture and error message. Request your help in troubleshooting this issue. Attachment CP1613 fault.zip (241 Downloads)

playerslight Posts: 1064 Rating: (72)	have you added any device recently like aq managed switch or unmanaged switch . Another have you powered up any old equipment lately this caused the same issue for and took some time to figure it out
