CP1616 Firmware 2.9.3 in Simatic Manager / Tia Portal Project

RDVD84 Joined: 3/12/2024 Last visit: 9/6/2024 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello experts, I am trying to update the firmware version of the CP1616 on a project but I can only see 2.7 as the higher available version. Even though I know the hardware itself has v2.9.3. Is there a way to importing this hardware to the simatic manager project?

It is possible that only this firmware version appears in the latest versions. 2- You can also try to install the STEP 5.X HSPs to check if it appears in the catalog: STEP 7 V5.x Hardware Support Packages (HSPs - as at 07/2024) for installing hardware updates in the Hardware Configuration
