Dear Experts:

We are using CP1616 (MLFB is 6GK1161-6AA02) with firmware 2.6.2.

And we use NCM to configure a simple network: CP1616+et200s. Yet, for the module in NCM, the MLFB is 6GK1161-6AA00 for the CP1616 module under IO controller folder.

We installed the GSD file in the 2.6.2 software package, yet, the new module with MLFB 6GK1161-6AA02 is installed in the IO device folder. No module is installed in the IO controller folder.

Do you know how to solve this problem? Or where we can get the GSD file for the 6GK1161-6AA02 IO controller.

for a IO-Controller you can't use a GSDML File, this is not possible.

Which NCM do you use? It can be that your version is to old and you must update to a newer Version.

if you read the information from the delievery release then you can use in the project the old MLFB.

The new card is 100% compatible.

take a look in the diagnostic buffer.

i think the IP Adress and/or Name of station is not set correctly.

If you configure a PN Topology you also check that the cables between the devices are in the right ports.

please can you provide a screen of the device list in >"Edit Ethernet Nodes", is the ET200S and the CP1616 listed here correct?
Do you have any diagnostic buffer?

In the last screen of the doc is a device displayed on P1 of the CP1616, which device is this?
