Hi! Look atthis page, chapter about features: Flexible use because slots are upwards-compatible, that is, no matter what slot is available (e.g. x4, x8, etc.), the CP will fit. Also, page 9 ofthis manualspecifies the same: Hardware requirements The CP 1623 requires a PCIe slot (PCI express x1; can also be operated in x4, x8 or x16 slots). BR, olloy
