Hello Daniel, do you get any error number in the diagnostic buffer of the CP? Regards, Kaulquappe |

Thank you for the reply sir Kaulquappe. I did not write the error number but i can post it after i monitor it later. I can recall that after the error it says : ....incoming event. Does it mean that data are ready to be fetch by the CP and i only have problem in my configuration? I also monitored the Counter of Successful send and receive and they are all zero. The counter of send error just keeps on adding up. The CP341 Rx LED and Tx LED blinks on startup. Tx and Rx blinks when I activate the send request bit on the sample program. But still i have no data on the destination DB.

Good day sirKaulquappe, This is the fault that i am getting. Event 4 of 9: Event ID 16# F1C8:0E52 IF 1: MODBUS receive error Master: Byte underflow: Less characters were received than entered in the byte counter of the response frame or expected with this function code. Slave : SIMATIC range limit exceeded when master attempted access: Resulting DB no.<1 or access to disabled area (parameter assignment) or instance DB. Incoming event Is this because i am expecting a word data and then i am getting a byte data? Thank you in advance. Regards
