CP314c-2DP - Communication Problem

We have created a profibus network with cp342-5. 6 cpus communicate each other, we control cpus from scada. We just want to exchange data between these cpus What do we need to do ? We could not achieve the result with "put& get" The error was : " There is no function code in the cpu for this block" Thanks in advance Best regards

Late Platinum Expert Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 12/23/2024 Posts: 2705 Rating: (320)	Hi, You have to use PROFIBUS FDL whereby you can work with FC5 "AG_SEND" {V4.2} and FC6 "AG_RECV"{V4.7} (from the communication library "SIMATIC_NET_CP"). In Netpro please make some FDL connections, if you have all CPU's in one project then it is no problem. Load all software, hardware and Netpro and your ready. See also in "Application & Tools" the examplewith download for a FDL connection between a S&-300 and a S7-400: FDL communication with SDA service via PROFIBUS CPs and Send/Receive interface
