Hello everybody, I've other question now is related with the communication between   communication processor CP340-1AH01-0AE0 installed on my rack and panel KTP 600 6AV6-647-0AC11-3AX0  or KTP 1000 6AV6 647-0AF11-3AX0 both of them with MPI communication protocol.

The communication processor CP340-1AH01-0AE0 has a RS232C port but I don't know is protocol.

Now my question is:

¿Is posible communicate this kinds of panels with this kind of communication processor?

¿What kind of panel do you reccomend for me with this communication processor?

Hello Cristian,

look, as Christoph posted, your KTP or simply panel has MPI port, what is RS-485 port communicating with it's configured protocol (MPI or DP). Your CP340 card is RS-232 communication processor, you can create your user communication with available protocol on card, this can be ASCII, 3964(R) and Printer. Simply you must prepare own communication programming. Look, RS-485 interface on Panel side, RS-232 interface on your CP card, interfaces are incopatible in this case. This is first important thing. Second but very important thing is (also in case you put some usable adapter/converter between panel and CP) that you must know internal frame structure of MPI/DP frames, simply as I said, you must prepare your communication by your own. In this case (also that Panel has incorporated some protocol) you cant use your card with Panel in this case of connection. Don't hesitate ask other things.
