CP341 AND ET200S 1 SI MODBUS SLAVE COMMUNICATION

Solution Riders Posts: 112 Rating: (0)	DEAR ALL, I am working with s7-400 plcand s7-300plc systems.s7 400 side we are using cp341 modbus master ands7 300 plc sidehaving et200s 1si modbus slave module.so i want read data from 1si modbus slve module(6ES7 138-4DF11-0AB0) to cp341ats7 400 plc.In s7400 plc side we are using modbus master communication block.My doupt is what are theessential stepsfor 1si modbus slave side? and any block available for this 1si module?..kindly clear my doupt as soon as possible.

Hello Solution Riders which FB you need (i.e. FB81 "S_MODB" in your MB Slave case) and how use it as well as how to set up the 1SI Modbus Slave is quite well explained in the ET200S Serial interface manual (you can find it as well as the FB's and examples HERE). While I hope this helps, the real question - in my humble opinion - is: Why would you usea Modbus RTUlink between two S7 PLC's???
