If it is "Yes", then how many slaves can be able to communicate and datas can be transfer.... ) For a single controller the maximum no of cp341(Either Master nor Slave) Modbus through serial comm, that can be able to configure in hardware.... Take a look at http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/37627 2. DO you mean CP441? Basically you can use Simatic Manager -> hardware in order to test it. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

Red Alert For a single controller the maximum no of cp341(Either Master nor Slave) Modbus through serial comm, that can be able to configure in hardware.... I am not aware of any limit to the number of CP341's you can have in a rack (other than the number of slots in the rack). My only concern is why you would need so many of them. Are you wanting dual-redundant links? Do you have many separate networks?
