Hi, Can you please tell me Which Modbus Address of the Master you have to pass the Information. Like Holding Register(40XXX), Please Let me Know Because I have not Open your Program...... & with the Example program you can achive the Communication, |

Dear Solution Riders I'm afraid to say that you haven't configured the Modbus Function Code Protcol DB's in yourCP341 HWconfig related setup! Please have a look at the screendump again that manju@vaessupplied you with and follow Ammy's advise on finding out first what Modbus registers your Master wants to read (these Modbus registers "translate" into DB's via the CP341 modbus Slave configuration). I might also be stating the obvious here, but perhaps aquiet read of the SIMATIC S7-300/S7-400 Loadable Driver for Point-to-Point CPs: MODBUS Protocol, RTU format, S7 is Slavemanual may behelpful too (have a look at especially chapter 5.6). I hope this helps |

1. First you have to make Settings in Hardware configuration of Modbus Slave. 2. You can not transfer word directly on Modbus, you have to transfer byets on modbus & then combine them. 3. In FB8 & FB7 you mention DB_NO as DB 100 & mention the offset you required in DBB_NO. AttachmentProgram for Modbus Master & slave.zip (264 Downloads) |

dear RJ, One of ourcustomer is asking for the modbus address inorder to fetch the data from the slave to YBL controller. Thethingis ihave to know, what modbus address i can give the customer. Whether ( 0-65535 decimal ) is the modbus address for slave to send the dataor anything else is there.I herebyattached thehwconfig screenshot. Kindly help me out.
