CP342-5 & S7-connection

phneutre Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Would it be possible to use a S7-connection and function blocks FB14, FB15(PUT and GET) to exchange data between two CP 342-5. I could use the blocks FC1 and FC2 (DP_SEND , DP_RECV), but the requirement is that the reading and writing of data must be done only in one direction. Sorry for my english....

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, the configuration of a S7-Connection is the same with Ethernet as well as with PROFIBUS. Please take care that you have active Nodes on both sides of the PROFIBUS Connection. A passive DP Slave is not capable of doing S7 Communication. Best regards J_Bell
