CP342-5 Send/Receive datas with more than one DP-Slave

Dear sir, I have a configuration with CPU313C, CP 342-5 (as a DP Master) and with modular DP slave. Each DP slave has two I/O modules (first with 4 words and second with 6 words), please see atached file. Is it possible to receive data separately from each module i.e. FC2 for receiving 8 bytes (from first I/O module) in some DB location and FC2 for receiving 12 bytes (from second I/O module) in some another DB location (two times call FC2, first call FC2)? If I try I get message: Inupt data lenght: DP_RECEIVE 8 (12) bytes is too short. The configured arrea is 20 bytes. What in case if I have configuration with 5 DP slaves like this? Does it mean that the CPU automaticaly configures data lenght for communication (in this case 100 bytes)? thanks in advance AttachmentDoc1.pdf (213 Downloads) |
