Automatic for the... Regular Member Joined: 2/10/2010 Last visit: 3/27/2020 Posts: 12 Rating: (1)	Hi all! I have a small problem(?). I want to cummunicate with a 314 CPU from a S7 400-station. The 314 is a DP slave to the 400. Every manual tells me that I shall use FC1 DP_SEND and FC2 DP-RECV for the communication. So far so good......BUT: The FC2 is used by the counter module, and is called "CNT-CTRL". The supplier of the 314 CPU(It´s a complete machinery that I want to send and recieve some signals to/from) has programmed FC11 and FC12 as "DP-SEND" and "DP-RECV".Is´nt those blocks for PROFINET?Is this possible to do like this? Any suggestions, anyone?

Yes, that is not a problem. The FC- and FB numbers are selectable, there is no number reserved for a special funktion. You can change the number without problem. Note: Numbers of SFB / SFC can not be changed.
