I already know that I cannot use the drag&drop.. But how can I create gsd of CPU31x + CP343-1 LEAN? And after creating it, siply install it into the catalog? |

Ok... you make a projekt in STEP 7, insert a new S7-300 Station and implement the CPU + CP in the Rack. Then mark the station and create a gsd with Options->Create GSD. This new station will be integrated into the HW catalogue. But note: this function is only available at S/-300 CPUs >FW V3.2. Thanks. This sounds good, but the options-> create GSD is always grey for me, I cannopt choose it. What am I doing wrong? |

You have to activate the I-Device mode (properties of PN-Interface of the PLC). Then the function is available... |

Hello, as i said, you need FW >=3.2 to use the i-device function. I attached a picture which shows the configuration. |
