CP343-1EX30 and STEP7 v5.3

yanikita Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Hi specialists, I would like to know how to use the CP 343-1EX30-0XE0 in HWConfig? I use Step7 V5.3 SP3 and even i updated the catalog via HW Update, I still cannot find it. I was thinking about : 1- Updating my Step7 version to 5.4 2- Replacing the CP by a previous reference (i.e 1EX21) If you have any other idea, please submit me. Thanx all. Hello yanikita Below is an excerpt straight from THIS release note which explains your problem: To be able to use the full scope of functions of the CP 343-1 (order no. 6GK7343-1EX30-0XE0) you require STEP 7 V5.4 SP1 + HF2 plus Hardware Support Package (HSP), or a later version of STEP 7. I hope this helps.
