Kindly sketch how you are planning to build your network using these elements so we can understand wwhat you are trying to do. MS1981 Silver Member Joined: 4/14/2010 Last visit: 2/8/2025 Posts: 525 Rating: (11)	Dear dchartier, thanks for message actually i want to connect two 3RK1200-0DQ00-0AA3, four 3RK1200-0CQ20-0AA3, one 3SF5813-0DA00 and one 3SF5813-2DE20 with CP343-2 6GK7343-2AH01-0XA0 module with help of 3RX9017-0AA00, 3RX9027-0AA00 and 3RX9501-0BA00. can i interconnect above devices with each other what is the assosated items required.?? is it cp343-2 supported for 40 digital inputs of sensors and Pushbutton stations..??? Thanks.

Or, does it now...? From the CP 343-2 tutorial suggested above: The following performance data for the AS-Interface is specified here: · Max. 31 AS-I nodes with 4 Bit I/O user data · Max. 124 I/O sensors and actors The tutorial shows a typical As-I bus, with AS-I master (for you, the CP 343-2), the As-I power supply (30 VDC) and one input and one output As-i module. it also guides you for the programming of the As-i master. You are showing part numbers for 2 types of cable: yellow (standard modules) and black (high-power); you will have to select between the 2. (from the AS-interface\| Home /Products page) For AS-Interface, data and a 24V DC auxiliary supply for sensors and actuators are simultaneously transmitted via the yellow AS-i cable. A black cable is available, for 24V actuators with a high current requirement or for devices connected in an E- stop circuit. You also need the As-I programmer to interface with each slave node indivisdually and attribute it a unique As-I address. The CP 343-2 can attribute addresses to unformatted As-I slaves by itself, but only one at a time (connected one at a time on the network, no other nodes must be on the bus) or when replacing a single slave. I have found it worth it to have the As-I programmer for such functions when building up the network. For the rest, you must select by yourself the As-I slave node models based on your requirements and the push-button units and other digital equipment you want to connect to the slaves.
