In both master and slave CPU's i have CP441-2 Module which will act as Slave and i will communicate them with HONEYWELL DCS. I configured my CP's in both CPU but there is external fault coming on both CPU's. In diagnostic of CP its showing me Recieve Line Break. I have four Wire Network and i checked my all wiring is OK.I am calling FB180 in OB1 and i took all the blocks from the Example of MD_Slave which I got from this site. I am having following blocks in my program OB1 OB100 OB101 FB180 DB180 SFB12 SFB22 But still i am having ext fault in my CP. Kindly tell me what could be the possible reasons... Since i have redundant CPU, So do i have to do any special thing when master CPUgoes to STOP and Standby CPU becomes Master. Will the CP also will go in Standby?? Right now i am on Site and need yr help Urgently. Your coperation in this matter will be highly appreciated. Regards, Tariq.

X27 Pin #2---T(A)is connected to R(A) of HoneyWell DCS. X27 Pin #11---R(B)is connected to T(B) of HoneyWell DCS. X27 Pin # 9---T(B) is connected to R(B) of HoneyWell DCS. Still i am having EXTF on my CP and in diagnostic its saying RECEIVE LINE BREAK. I will eagerly wait for your reply. Regards, tariq

So now i am using RS485 connection. Good news is that there is no External Fault now on the CP but also TX & RX are not blinking; (meaning; there is no light on CP)... Honey WELL DCS Engineer is contineously polling our Slave but he is not able to get any responses. I really dont know why... In parameter setting of CP, I selected R(A) as 0 Volt and R(B) as 5 Volt. since in HoneyWell R(A) is +ve and R(B) is -ve ad in our case R(A) is -ve and R(B) is +ve. Does honeywell has to send some specail messages to start receiving responses from our system? Or is there any other thing which i Should check?? Your earliest reply will be highly appreciatted.
