Thanks my friend. Even us experts get it wrong sometimes.
That will teach me to study the manual a bit closer next time.
I assume that the BRECV must be caching some values on the first call. As I said earlier, I noticed that the INDEX parameter in the instance DB is different for each multi-instance declaration of BRECV / BSEND so maybe that is it.
I would be interested to find out what it is just to satisfy my own curiosity.

As an asside. Do you think that I should post up my CPU selection logic code as a tip?
It might be of some use to others maybe. Just a thought.

 It would be great if you could provide the working code because as per the product manual (Document ID number: A5E00218410-06) it has BSEND and BRCV blocks used in STL language and only for single AS system.I have been looking to change same logic for H-system as per my project requirement.

It would be appreciated if you could share working code or any main content which can integrate your logic.
