Hello Friends, I want to create a communication line between our communication module and S7-400 via MODBUS RTU. Is it possible to do that with CP443-1? |

Dear maydin, When you want to use Modbus RTU, you will need CP441-2. SIMATIC S7-300/S7-400 Loadable Driver for Point-to-Point CPs: MODBUS Protocol, RTU format, S7 is Slave SIMATIC S7-300/S7-400 Loadable Driver for Point-to-Point CPs: MODBUS protocol, RTU format, S7 is master You can use CP443-1, but then you have MODBUS/TCP: how can you establish OPEN MODBUS / TCP communication from a SIMATIC S7 and where can you find futher information?
