Dear S. Lyyappan, The new CP 443-1 Advanced (order no. 6GK7443-1EX41-0XE0) can be configured with STEP7/NCM V5.4 SP1 and higher. Configuration of PROFINET CBA requires the SIMATIC iMap STEP 7 Add-on V3.0 + SP1 and higher to create the components, and SIMATIC iMap ab V2.0 + SP 2 to interconnect the created components. So the CP443-1EX41 have to be in your STEP7 V5.4 SP2...... It have to be under SIMATIC 400 --> CP400 --> Industrial Ethernet --> CP 443-1 Advanced-IT --> 6GK7 443-1EX41-0XE0..... when it is not there, which CP 443-1 IT do you see there ? You could first try to repair STEP7. You may update your version to V5.4 SP3.1 for free: Service Pack 3.1 for STEP 7 V5.4 and STEP 7 Professional Edition 2006 Please also download from the same link SP3, you need first to update to SP3 and after that you could go to SP3.1 If this don't help then I recomend you to deinstall all SIEMENS software as in the FAQ: Complete deinstallation of STEP 7 including all software packages Please start after the deinstallation the PC new before do other handling, it is better to start several times new. |

Hi J_Bell, All the best for this new year ! I have this from the Service&Support page.... I think that the CP443-1EX41 may be some earlier be given free then the V5 CPUs. Updated Delivery Release for CP 443-1 Advanced with Optimized PROFINET IO Interface to the CPUfrom this FAQI have copied the data, when that is wrong, how must I know it then ?
