CP443-5 Basic as DP Master and CP342-5 as DP Slave

Have a look at this manual: S7-CPs Manual / Part B3 Description of the CP 443-5 Basic (Teil A siehe Beitrags-ID 1158693) Maybe you try to establish a communication via profibus FDL? Or us a CP 443-5 Extended Here you will find some examples how to establish communication: Quickstart Best regards Sabine

How many byte do you want to send? https://www.automation.siemens.com/net-static/Quickstart2009/quickstart012003/html_00/profibus/pb_s7_s7_s7.htm The second one should be interesting for you.

Dmitriy87 Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Thank youvery much for your answer. I have a lot of byte of data, which i have to send from CP 342-5. It is about 600 tagwith type real. And also alot of DI are here. In this case, can i use s7 communication, FDLor no? thank you.

Rated X Posts: 1547 Rating: (129)	Hello, the max data per job is about 240 Byte, but you can use more than one job to splitt the data.You can add also more than one connection. You have only one limit = 240 Byte per Job if all data in the same DB. The limit isindepend from the used Protocoll, because it is a limit of PROFIBUS. FDL is the faster one.
