onsiu Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi! My old system was used the CP5412A2 (MPI) with wonderware HMI configuration and found damaged. Can theCP5611A2 replace the CP5412A2, and where Can I find outits driver working in Window NT system? Thank you.

It's not so easy.
Functionally CP5611A2 replace CP5412A2, but:
1. CP5412 is ISA, CP5611 is PCI
2. There are several drivers for CP5611 (you mustbuy the adequate driver for your application, probaly it was a S7-5412 and now Softnet S7), but I believe that the driver for WINNT is discontinued, so you should upgrade your system for Windows 2000, XP, 2003 or Vista and this means you should upgrade your Scada System too and probably your PC.

sylwektoja Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	hello, I want replace computer with card CP5412A2 (6GK1541-2BA00). The new computer does not have ISA slot, so I have to use PCI card. I found PCI card CP5611 (6GK1561-1AA00) and I want to give it instead of CP5412A2 card. Is it possible ? Operating system is Windows NT 4.0 SP6. I mounted the hard drive from the old computer to the new one (with CP5611), and I instaled graphics card driver. Windows NT 4 on a new computer is working properly. The Visualization application starts, but the PC does not comunicate with CP 342-5. In "setting the PG/PC interface there is only CP5412A2 card" --------------------------------------------- Settings for CP5412A2 cards are: Access point of Application: CP_L2_1 Module parameter set used: CP5412A2 (Active) Local station address: 10 Transmission rate: 1.5 Mbps Highest station address: 63 Profile: Universal (DP/FMS) Number of Masters: 1 Number of Slaves: 0 --------------------------------------------- I have also CD with software Step7 v5.2 Sp1 + NCM S7. Can I use CP5611 driver from this CD ???
