cp5511 fail to communicate with im308c by comprofibus

I have simatic S7 manager V5.4 and simatic net 2006 installed on my laptop. My problem is when i need to connect my CP with IM308C (S5 PLC) with comprofi bus, it says that station cannot be reach. i test my card from setting pg/pc, it was OK (see 2.jpg). but if i connect to im308c and test it from setting pg/pc nothing happen although i have waited for half an hour. My question is: 1. do i need a software driver for cp5511? if yes could someone share it? 2. please help. thank you in advance Attachment 2.JPG (49 Downloads)

jklm Platinum Member Joined: 12/22/2006 Last visit: 1/25/2022 Posts: 1742 Rating: (303)	Hello, As far as I know, Com Profibus V5.1 runs only under Windows 2000 but not XP (with hotfix 3 downloadbale here: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/19293900). Are you still running windows 2000?
