AutoGen_7361160 Posts: 167 Rating: (1)	I want to replace my exsisting configureation for CP5613 to CP5611 A2 (6GK1561-1AA01) https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/pd/22271?pdti=pi&lc=en-WW The problem is that these order number is not coming up in hardware configuration only, 6GK1561-1AA00.... please see attached photo. I`m using Simatic NCM Manager (v5.4.5.1) How can I got these so I have 6GK1561-1AA01 in my hardware configuration? I`m newbe when it comes to CP card.... AutoGen_7361160 Posts: 167 Rating: (1)	Thank you for your replay. Which of these two shall I choose ? I have a windows XP computer who shall communicate with a PLC CPU 407 on FDL. EVerything has been up and running so I only shall replace the card so my plan was to replace the card in hardware configuration and download it, do I need todo more?

If you take a look at attached photos, when I press accessible nodes, only the PLC is listed, shall not the CP card also be listed profibus address 3 ?? Attachment 01.jpg (216 Downloads)

AutoGen_7361160 Posts: 167 Rating: (1)	Hem.. We have a old server running on HMI system Cimplicity 6.1 and are using CP5613 A2 with Siemens OPC server to get communication to the 400 CPU. Now I`m replacing the old server with a new one, but operation system and HMI is the same (using a imaige). But we was not abel to use the CP5613 card, so CP 5611 A2 was choice to use. Can you say from these information it`s not possible to use CP 5611 A2 ? Please see attached photo of the CP5613 A2 configuration. Attachment untitled.JPG (168 Downloads)

Have you configured the CP5611 in the PC so that they use the DP Adress 3? You only show the HWConfig but not the config of the PC with the CP5611 or the settings of the CP5611 in the PC.

AutoGen_7361160 Posts: 167 Rating: (1)	1. It`s from slot 1 yes, where do I configure the profibus address on the CP card? 2. I can send you the project if that help or something? 3. I have only looked into the Simatic NCM manager and replaced the the CP card from 5613 A2 to 5611 A2, is there other software program I need to start to make changes ? maybe it`s there I set the profibus adress also? 4. I have tried to find some good user maunal, but havent found any one, I want to learn how these is conencted together CP card => OPC Server => HMI system.

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 3/21/2025 Posts: 22596 Rating: (3056)	on the PC where you install the CP Card you must configure the Address. you can do this in the communication settings from start menu or the PG/PC Settings in the windows control panel.
