CP5611 Interface is not installed via "Set PG/PC Interface"

Engineeren Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi Folks, I do not install CP5611 Interface via "Set PG/PC Interface" for Step 7. Install button is not enabled. When i read the help doc, it point that : ********************************************************************************** A displayed interface cannot be installed if: · It is on a Plug and Play module, or · The maximum number of interfaces of this type are already installed For example, a PC adapter can only be installed once. *********************************************************************************** but it does not have maximum number of interfaces yet... How can i install it? Thanks, Eren

FunStuff Posts: 103 Rating: (10)	I had a similar problem after switching from a CP5511 to a CP5512. It may be an IRQ problem. I downloaded a tool called CP5511INF and fixed the problem. (I don't remember now what exactly I changed to fix it). J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear Eren, may I ask how many CP 5611 you already have installed in your system? As you already mentioned the CP 5611, as a PCI Card, is capable of supporting Plug & Play, so it should be detected as soon as it is plugged to your System. May you check if there is a "strange" Network adaptor present you did not noticed yet this would be a sign that the CP is plugged but not detected. If you see nothing I would try to plug the CP into another PCI Slot, if this does not fix the problem maybe try the CP in another PC... if this also does not help... I fear the CP is faulty.
