Omer_ Posts: 37 Rating: (2)	Hi all , I have CPU 1212C DCDCDC + TIA Portal SP2+update 4. When i connect CPU to computer by ethernet , it can not connect. I can't download any program , can't go online , i can't see CPU on accessible device , too. This CPU is new and has V3.01 firmware. I have one more CPU same , firmware 2.2. I can nonnect it without any problem. Has somebody any idea ? Best regards.

Omer_ Posts: 37 Rating: (2)	Yes , now i installed update 5 and HSP 0026 ,too. Result is still same. I put ethernet jack other cpu , it connected in 2 seconds. But new cpu can't connect. Its communication lights blink fast when cable is connected , after they go slow. Cpu does not appear even on accessible device list. What to do ?

selim33 Posts: 17 Rating: (1)	Hi, if you download update 5 and again you cant connect download first HSP_V11sp2-0026_001_s71200_cpu21x_map3_3.0.isp11, you must download this from support and when you open tia portal you must download it from upgrade program.After this you must connect to this cpu make cpu memory reset ,if you cant connecttry it withother computerand make memory reset, Best regards if its help to u rate it

Omer_ Posts: 37 Rating: (2)	Dear Friends , thanks a lot for your kind answers . Yes , i found real and big trouble between i and S7 1200 products. I have sent to Siemens repair center 3 units recently for same trouble. I bought 1 pc 1214C DCDCDC and 2 pc KTP600 Mono PN , i tried to connect them to Tia Portal , but they didn't like to connect every time i attempted. I sent them to Siemens , they sent me back after 15 days and i have been told , no problem with units. I tried immediately and saw they connect fast and every time to Tia Portal. I was sure , they did somethings. This was my recent story before i opened this topic. Now i bougt another CPU ( 1212C DCDCDC ) , i faced same situation. But , by your help dear friends , i realised solution now. Tia Portal is still a demo as you know. Its harware detect functions are so weak. It can't sense your devices which connected to computer. It can see devices if they have good IP adress and others. At last , i dowloaded Dear Huggy's adviced S7 1200 tool , and i checked new 1212C , i saw there is no IP in it. So this is why Tia Portal can't see it. And , S7 1200 tool is so relentless , it writes IP to CPU by force , so it is powerfull software. Now i use it to give new IP to CPUs. Thanks all.
