and again someone with the same problem. Did anyone solve it? I spend a day trying to solve it but no luck. I'm using a s7 1500 with CM PTP 422/485 HF |

Hello Kamerling, from your ERROR STATUS value is clear that some different communication settings are configured on PLC CPU and your MB Sim SW. As in TIA help is description: Check the connection line of the communication partners, or verify that both devices are configured for the same data transmission rate, parity and stop bit number. |

Thanks for the quick reply. But as you can see in my picture, the first Network I select 4 for mode (RS-485 two wire) In network 4 I select Modbus slave with an address of 2 The screenshot at the bottem is from modscan my master simulator. I use the instructions from MODBUS (RTU) v3.0 |

Hello, ok, what kind of converter are you using now for interconnect PLC and PC application? Do you have proper wire connection between PLC and PC? Can you check some RX/TX led statuses on your PLC comm module with PC sim application send/receive? |

I am using: I use the pins 4 (-) and 11(+) (and even tried connecting 8 ground) My converter shows the TX blinking, and on the PLC the RXD is blinking. |
