cpu 1510sp-1pn led diagnostics

I assigned the ip address to the P3 port (ip -192.168.0.1 mask-255.255.255.0) of the et200sp cpu and pinged the cpu from my laptop twice. My network adapter was in dhcp mode at that time.

During that time the LK3 led was steady on.Then when i unplugged and plugged my cable  again, it was off.

Then it is in off state completely even when i cycle power is it not on or flashing .

Now unable to atleast connect it from Online>accessible devices as i did before.

I do not have any bus adapter.

The cable is working fine ,pgpc are ok ,also tried by enabling and disabling my network adapter,restarted my laptop.

Now it shows "Network cable unplugged" on the ethernet adapter when i connect to the et200sp.

When you expand the project tree in tia portal (what version are you using?) and show the "Online access" option below your PLC portion of the project, what devices do you see when you expand the network adapter connected to the PLC network?

Do you see the ET200SP?  If so, does it show the name and IP address?  Are they correct?

A screenshot would be most helpful.

Have you tried removing the power supply and common from the module, measuring the voltage between L+ and M, and also from L+ to Ground and M to Ground?

If they are normal, when you reconnect the L+ and M to the module, does it still remain non-responsive?

It seems to me like it is missing power.

As requested kindly find attached screenshots..on power cycle the led does not also flash .isnt'it a test procedure for the led to flash? I am using v15

That device has 2 network ports.  Switch to the other one.  Verify the network cable is ok and that it is fully inserted into the module and the PC.

I think the power is ok as the RUN/STOP indications on the cpu where ok, as present in screenshot . Any damage to ethernet port??

I did not buy the bus adapter. Hence i have only this one port on the cpu.

If there is not PN connection with the PN master, the image you posted says the LED will be OFF.  That matches the situation you are having where you cannot even see the remote device via online access.

I assume you can see the PLC / PN Master via online access??..

Just as a test, remove the device having the problem from the DIN rail and perform a visual inspection using magnifying lens and bright light.  (If you can safely do that inspection with it still installed, by all means do so.

Look for a bent pin in the RJ45 jack.  If you find one, power it off and gently pry it back into position - unless it is under warranty.  If it is under warranty, contact the seller (your local Siemens distributor?) and request a warranty replacement.

-- this next part is only useful if you can see the problem remote device via online access and still cannot get a valid PN connection.

If everything is ok with the pins, check that you have not accidentally set the network topology in your project.  If you have set the network topology (which is required for ISO, but generally not required otherwise) for the connection between the plc and the problem device, delete all the topology connections.

If you require the topology to be set, verify the topology and try again.
