CPU 312 IFM problem

jostomic Posts: 14 Rating: (1)	Dear Sirs, could you please help me with problem with my 312IFM CPU. After I lost power on machine, after power-up, CPU doesn't go to Run mode, it flashes RUN and STOP is turned on all the time. In diagnostic buffer I have this message: Memory reset started automatically(power on not backed up). Configuration has CPU 312 IFM module and SM323 DI8/DO8 module. If I remove SM323 module, the CPU starts normally and goes to RUN mode, and if I place SM 323 module, it stays in RUN. After I remove power and power up again the whole configuration, it again won't go to RUN. Does anybody know what is causing this and how to solve it? Thank you in advance. jostomic Posts: 14 Rating: (1)	Thanks for the reply,but the problem is that this CPU doesn't have battery, and memory module is integrated. When I remove SM323 Module the CPU goes to run. If i remove SM module, restart CPU, it is in RUN, then I place SM module, it goes to STOP, but If I warm restart it from PG, it goes to RUN, but I can't see inputs in monitor mode. Is the CPU broken?

Is the CPU broken? you're right, your CPU has neither the battery nor the MC 've tried to reload the Hardware configuration? of course if you have the original program...

jostomic Posts: 14 Rating: (1)	I tried everything I could think of, reloading configuration, clearing memory, redownloading, copy ram to rom, tried new SM module, but nothing worked. If anybody has anything else, I would be gratefull.
