simaticmanager Posts: 150 Rating: (5)	dear all, I m prepairing the execution of a project in which i have a doubt regarding the the integrated high speed counter of the cpu. In my application there is a high speed proximity switch i have to configure the integrated counter to count the no. of pulses form single input which i will connect on i 124.0. Is it possible? i explore the the thing and found in cofiguration setting siganl evaluation can be set either as rotary encoder or pulse/direction. I think if i select pulse / direction and did not connect any signal on i 124.1 then i can do it but not confirmed. please suggest a wayout. simatic manager
