Dear aante, The amount of data will be projected in Master. You can send and receive data using FC1 DP_send and FC2 DP_Recv. See following link: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21628604 And perhaps this link is useful: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/15007089 Best regards, Wizard |

Dear aante, Well I guess the master CPU has an integrated Profibus Here is a link about differences between integrated Profibus and CP342-5: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21628388 http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/689920 When you have integrated Profibus, you can use MOVE a range of DW-words to PQW. But when you use CP342-5 you mustuse FC1 and FC2 So there is no possibility, you can do the same as master CPU. (if you wish, you should use CPU with integrated profibus) Best regards, Wizard |

Dear aante, It's no problem. The other side can use MOVE instruction Here I found an example: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/6518938 Unfortunately it's the other way around. CP342-5 is master and CPU is slave. But perhaps it's useful Best regards, Wizard |
